Here's the truth most star-naming companies won't tell you: nobody can sell you an official star name. Only the International Astronomical Union names stars, and it doesn't sell them — to anyone, at any price.
What we offer is something honest instead. A real, catalogued star — one you can find in the Hipparcos astronomical catalogue and see in our sky map — dedicated to your person in our own register, once and only once. Many of the stars in our register are named for someone no longer here. If that's why you've come, we're glad you found us — and we'll say plainly what we tell every customer: the naming is symbolic. We think that's exactly why it helps. A named star asks nothing of you. It's simply there — on clear nights, on hard nights — a fixed point in the sky that carries their name. Your star page never expires, and the certificate can be reprinted whenever it's needed: for a memorial service, an anniversary, or a grandchild who asks about the name.

Yes. Every star we dedicate is a real, catalogued star from the Hipparcos and Tycho catalogues, with genuine coordinates printed on your documents. Your coordinates sheet includes a chart of the surrounding sky, and your star page shows it among its constellation. Some are visible to the naked eye on a dark night; all can be found with binoculars or a small telescope.
You choose the constellation (or let us surprise you). We then allocate a real star from our curated pool for that constellation — each one catalogued, charted, and never previously dedicated. Once allocated, it's marked as taken in our register and is never offered again.
